Her career as an actress has been more prolific than her recording career. As an actress Judith Clayton can be seen in the films: "Roxanne: The Prize Pulitzer" (1989), "American Tiger" (1990), "Cop & 1/2" (1993), "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" (1994), "The Truman Show" (1998) and "Bully" (2001).
As a singer she had one terrific 12" single in 1980. "Love Is Gonna Find You" was released on the Warner/Curb label in a limited pressing. Her son Eric was heavily involved in the N.Y. club scene. Through mutual acquaintenances he became friends with Lou DiVito. That friendship led to Judy's appearance at Dugan's Bistro's 7th Anniversary party. She sang her hit and passed out roses to each and every guest.....the record still didn't go nationwide. |
