    A lifelong resident of Chicago, Loleatta's place in the "Hall Of Fame" comes from her work with Vince Montana and The Salsoul Orchestra. In fact Salsoul and many of it's artists owe her a big thanks! Without her early hits the label would have never made it into the 1980's. Her gospel based voice and her ability to turn a phrase have endeared her to several generations of clubgoers.
