| No Hall of Fame would be complete without the brothers Gibb. The average joe on the street will say "Bee Gees" when asked about the first thing they think of when you say "disco." The average "gay" joe on the street will say something way far removed from them. Either way the Bee Gees gave disco a certain legitimacy that cannot be taken away. The biggest selling soundtrack of all time to a really cool, if often inaccurate, disco movie. When previewed 29 years ago in November 1977 I was mesmerized. I went five times within a month to see the beauty of the dancing and the uber hot John Travolta.....the bikini underwear scene is one of those ultra hot gay fantasy moments that will live forever in time. With one album no other artist(s) ever scored more disco success. White Polyester suits are cool and so are the B.G.'s....... |
