| Fat Larry's Band was formed in Philadelphia in 1977. They never scored commercial success, but many of their productions became club hits.
Their first hit was in 1977, "Center City" received regional success. But their biggest chart hit was 1979's "Looking For Love." 1981's "Here Comes The Sun" and 1982's "Act Like You Know" also became regular club classics. Not much else is known about James or his band. As info on him is scarce, so too are his records. So if you see them, usually listed as Fat Larry's Band or FLB pick them up and if you have any further info on him let us know. |
