| Cheryl Ladd's first taste of success was with Josie & The Pussycats, the vocal group behind the animated cartoon television show. Her next achievement was as Kris Monroe on the show Charlie's Angels. Having stepped up with each venture Ladd figured a singing career was next in order. Naturally in 1978 disco was the rage so........her self-titled debut album featured the Capitol records 12" single of "Skinnydippin'." It came and went without a notice. Persistent as she was she recorded another album in 1979 entitled "Dance Forever." And she tried another 12" single bid for club recognition with "Missing You." But alas even disco music had it's standards, albeit sometimes low, the club community passed on it and her. |
