| Christian songbird Grant was already an icon in the Nashville/Gospel arena when she took on the pop music world. In 1991 she hit club charts with "Baby Baby" and then again in 1994 with "Lucky One." But before all was said and done the (then) mother of three divorced her husband and married duet partner Vince Gill (who was also married when the two met). The scandal rocked the Nashville scene, but after a brief hiatus Grant returned to the pantheon of hit making elite. Neither Gill nor Grant have suffered as both continue to chart, tour and sell many records. |
