Andy
Kahn-Kurt
Borusiewicz
After scoring a #-1 club hit with their work on Karen Young's "Hot Shot" the dynamic duo of musician Andy Kahn and former Philadelphia D.J. Kurt Borusiewicz landed their own deal with RSO Records.
     1979's
"Rhythmic Feet" was a splendid celebration of the talented twosome. The album's name was an anacronym for the duo and Inside the slick cover was a cornocopia of fresh sounds. A medley of "When We're Alone," "Goin' Downtown," "We Love A Celebration" and "I'm In Heaven With You" round out the entire side two of the album. Side one kicks off with the 12" single, and major hit, "Stand Up-Sit Down." Topped off with the smokin' "We Got Rhythmic Feet."
This rare and highly sought-after hit album features Willie Mae Kidd (Sasha), Brenda Hill, Jackie, Carolyn and Lois on vocals. As with most studio groups/producer-driven projects of the disco era very little is known about the musicians and the making of the album. Nor is their any information to be found about either Kurt or Andy after this release. No further releases came from AKB but if you happen upon this gem......buy it!
